The Band

HELLCROSS is a Groove Stoner Metal band formed in 2014 in Lima, Peru by Pedro Vásquez and Joseph Rojas. The band was born with the need to write songs about common feelings, but placed in a symbolic, powerful and aggressive way.

The sound of HELLCROSS is a mix of the Groove Metal from the early 90’s, with the Southern 70’s classic Rock and Stoner metal from today. It is a different approach to what is currently found in the Latinamerican Metal market, especially Peru, where bands of Thrash, New Metal and Hardcore Punk scenes dominate.

In HELLCROSS’ music, you can find some Black Sabbath, Pantera, Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne, DOWN, Motörhead, High On Fire, Guns n’ Roses, Alice in Chains, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Soundgarden, Sleep, etc.

HELLCROSS has shared the stage with international bands such as Angelus Apátrida from Spain, Mario Ian (ex Rata Blanca) from Argentina, Thrash band Dekapited from Chile, etc.
